3 Mobile Betting Sites To Use While Betting On The Go

By March 28, 2017Sports Betting Tactics

Bookmaker’s function is primarily to take bets on events, which can vary from sports to other events, based on pre-set odds.

In today’s world the range of scenarios are endless, be it horse racing, football or even The Oscars.

The variety of betting markets per scenario has also greatly increased. In football, for example, you can bet on from the correct winner, correct half-time score, correct full-time score and many others.

Recently we even saw a betting market on the reserve keeper eating a pie during the game! This happened during the Sutton United vs Arsenal game, and a lucky punter took home a 5 figure bet home!

With all these variables come a lot of different audiences to appeal to. Some want in-play betting, others want best pre- match odds and so on. This has created multiple bookmakers, each targeting different audiences with their product.

This article will offer you guidance to which app/website is best suited to your needs. Here is a list of our top 3 app / mobile betting sites.

The Top 3 Mobile Betting Sites To Try

Mobile Betting Sites

The Bet365 Mobile App

Download Bet365 App here.

Bet365 was founded by Denise Coates in 1974. Today it is now one of the largest online bookmakers and anyone who has placed a bet online recognises Bet365. It’s offices contain 3000 employees and produces revenue of £1.5 billion.

Bet365 only operate online, offering an extensive range of markets and is divided into Sports, In-play, casino, games, bingo, Vegas, poker and financials.

The range of sports is particularly wide, even offering markets in sports such as Futsal, Hurling, Greyhounds, Curling and Surfing. It is mainly known for its in-depth football markets and is in fact partners with the English Premier League.

Bet365 has a particular focus on in-play betting. In-play betting is the process of placing a bet on the event while the event is actually happening, with the odds constantly changing throughout.

Bet365 is considered to have the best in-play product around.

The usability of Bet365 is excellent. It has one wallet which is valid for all betting on the site which I particularly like. The live streaming is the best out there, streaming is of high quality and is gives the user access to 50,000+ events.

This combines well with the cash-out feature as it gives the user an experience of a ‘one-stop shop’, where the user may bet, watch and cash out through a single platform.

Overall, Bet365 is one of the most trusted apps and mobile betting sites around and has become a mammoth player in the betting industry. It also offers a great sign-up bet on download which adds to the user experience.

For the average user, Bet365 is ideal.

The William Hill App

> Download the WillHill App here.

William Hill is the most established name in betting. It was founded in 1934 and changed ownership quite a few times. It is online division headquarters is based in Gibraltar and globally have over 16,000 people employed.

William Hill produced revenue of roughly 1.6 million in 2015.

Unlike Bet365, William hill also has retail outlets. There are 2,371 outlets set up throughout the United Kingdom. This also combined with its huge online presence with over 3 million active customers annually, William Hill has a strong loyal customer base for a reason.

William Hill has a huge range of betting markets, having one of the best selections around. Like Bet365, William Hill has a strong focus on football with over 60,000 football matches offered.

William Hill has a particularly strong product in casino and poker also.

William Hill live betting is outstanding, as they have features like William Hill radio and William Hill TV that complement live betting very well. William Hill’s Cash Out feature is also one of the best in the betting industry.

William Hill’s app and the website is my personal favourite, in my opinion, it is the most user-friendly. The app has over 2.5 million since 2012 on IOS alone. William Hill also has great customer support as it is always available via phone, live chat and a responsive Twitter account.

I use William Hill for my personal betting account. Has very competitive odds, a great range of markets and outstanding navigation.

Unfortunately, William Hill isn’t available for certain countries and I feel for you if you are one of those countries, as William Hill is the one for me.

William Hill App

The Betfair App

> Download the Betfair App here.

Betfair is a unique story as it initially started as a Betting Exchange platform rather than a Sportsbook platform. For those who do not what Betting Exchange is, rather betting on pre-set one would agree on odds on a bet of choice with another user.

Their Betting Exchange platform alone current processes 1.2 billion bets per year with a total value of £56 billion.

In 2016, Betfair had its biggest news in history when it merged with Irish bookmaker Paddy Power. Betfair also has betting partnerships with five Premier League clubs which are Leicester City, Aston Villa, Arsenal, Southampton and Sunderland.

Betfair offers most sports betting markets on both its Exchange platform and its Sportsbook. Unlike most bookmakers, they alphabetically organise its sports which make it easy to navigate.

Betfair also has a particular focus on non-sports and entertainment such as Politics, Current Affairs, Music and even Virtual Sports.

In-play betting of Betfair is one of the best although not quite as good as Bet365 and William Hill in my opinion. One feature that it does have which I quite like is a live betting calendar, make it easy to organise your own betting schedule.

Usability is a bit of a mess on Betfair due to the exchange and sportsbook tab being side to side which tends to confuse the consumer.

On another note, the mobile app is excellent also their customer support is probably the best out there. Due to features such as a unique twitter account, email support, phone and live chat. Their FAQs is also notably extensive.

My conclusion to Betfair would be if you are into Betting Exchange, it is the perfect fit as it has the best platform by absolute miles. For sportsbook, it would not be my choice though.

Closing Words

In my opinion, these are the top 3 mobile / betting sites in the market today.

They are three outstanding mobile betting sites, each having its own appeal. As a sports book user who is too focused on the event to do anything else but actually watch it, I am a loyal William Hill user myself.

However, if you are interested in in-play markets, I strongly suggest Bet365. Same applies to anyone interested in Betting Exchange, use Betfair.

Be the winner you were always meant to be.
