Let’s cut straight to the chase, there are four teams left to make to the Super Bowl are:
- Minnesota Vikings
- Philadelphia Eagles
- New England Patriots
- Jacksonville Jaguars
Now for the AFC and NFC Championship Games, we have one thing on our mind: DEFENSE.
For the four remaining teams, they each have one of the highest ranking scorers and that means highly paid quarterback.
The teams who have been given the best predictions to win the Super Bowl 2018 are the New England Patriots and their star: Tom Brady.
Whilst for the Jaguars you have Blake Bortles.
As for the NFC Championship teams, you have Case Keenum for the top seed team the Minnesota Vikings and Nick Foles for the Philadelphia Eagles.
With each of their setbacks this season behind them, they are ready to smash the Super Bowl.
Today we discuss:
- The NFL Championship Sunday Picks
- AFC Championship Game
- NFC Championship Game
- Our Picks To Win The Super Bowl
AFC Championship Game
No. 3 Jacksonville (12-6) at No. 1 New England (14-3)
TV: 3:05 p.m. ET, CBS
Line: Patriots, -9.5 points
We need to keep in mind that the Jacksonville Jaguars are a young team and will need to match the years of experience that a quarterback like Tom Brady brings to the team.
The Jaguars seem to be a pretty confident team but we all know that talk means nothing once they get onto that pitch, this is the Super Bowl.
If you need more information where and when the Super Bowl is happening.
The real test for the Jaguars will be how they manage to strategize their offence throughout the game.
This will be far from easy with Brady who’s entire NFL career has been about skilled wins.
Brady also has a 7-0 record against the Jaguars and if you remember, the last time they faced each other back in 2007 he left a scar.
If the Jaguar stands a chance to give the Patriots a run for their money, they will need to man up with players like Rob Gronkowski and Jalen Ramsey.
What the Jaguars have to keep in mind is that if you can hit Brady, then you can beat him.
As for the Patriot fans who are reading this, the team have made leaps and bounds in the last 10 weeks with their defence techniques.
We saw this is their game against the Titans last week.
We should expect that the Patriots will need to limit the Jacksonville taking control of the game.
Bortles will try his best to overturn the ball but this is will be a challenge perhaps beyond his capabilities.
Realistically the Patriots will make it to another Super Bowl, unable to shadow Brady for the duration of the game.
Alpha Sports Betting Picks: The New England Patriots
NFC Championship Game
No. 2 Minnesota (14-3) at No. 1 Philadelphia (14-3)
TV: 6:40 p.m. ET, Fox
Line: Vikings, -3.5 points
The NFC Championship game will feature top-notch defences and ironically with two quarterbacks who started the season as just backups.
The Philadelphia Eagles impressed us all when Nick Foles took down the Falcons.
Foles is a solid player but we have to remember that he is not an all-rounder.
Against the Vikings, he will have a harder time as they have passer Case Keenum who stole the show against the Saints in the final play.
For this game, it will be about who can protect the football and yet still be able to make throwdowns in the field.
The Eagles have one of the best inside players in the league in Fletcher Cox, who is a game wrecker.
The Vikings have a star-studded back end of their defence with corner Xavier Rhodes and safety Harrison Smith, but the key here will end Everson Griffen. His ability to pressure Foles will be big.
We think that the Vikings will beat the Eagles and actually be the first teams to play a Super Bowl on their home field.
