Cristiano Ronaldo is currently in the race for the golden boot in this year’s World Cup with his 4 goals in 2 games, behind Harry Kane’s 5.

Cristiano Ronaldo is known to be the best athletic footballer.

This is because the tests that were run on him to compare his physicality to someone much younger than him show that even though he’s 33, his physicality is like that of a 23 year old.

This means that he can still develop even more and still hasn’t reached his full potential.

French centre-back, Raphael Varane is also included in France’s 23-man squad.

A vital defender, picked in almost every game. The 25 year old starts nearly every game for France.

The 2 Croatian midfielders that were picked from Real Madrid’s team are, Modric and Kovacic.

Modric has been playing with Real Madrid since 2012 and has been a crucial pick ever since then.

For a fee of 30 million, it’s safe to say he acted as a very good number 10 for Real Madrid.

Kovacic on the other hand has been with the club since 2015 but he hasn’t seemed to be the best signing, not even scoring a goal in 36 fixtures and only assisting 1 goal.

The 2 Brazilian players that have been picked from Real Madrid’s team are Marcelo and Casemiro.

Marcelo has been with Real Madrid ever since 2007 and has acted as their go to left back for a number of years.

He has been compared to the likes of Brazilian left back, Roberto Carlos. As one of Brazil’s legends, being compared to him is a very big achievement in his career.

The defensive midfielder, Casemiro, was bought by Real Madrid in 2013.

That same year he was sent on a season long loan to Porto to be able to get a lot of playing time and develop.

The next year, when he returned to Real Madrid, he made 35 appearances in that whole season, including matches other than matches in La Liga.

In regards to how all the Real Madrid players affect the World Cup, if we take Portugal for instance, Cristiano Ronaldo scored a hat-trick against Spain to save their chances of going through the group stages.

No one had expected the young right-back to pull this out of his socks and score a curling shot from outside the box.

He has also been playing well defensively and has been a good choice so far for Spain.

Real Madrid midfielder, Modric, stepped up for Croatia when they beat Argentina 3-0.

He played a big part in the game, having scored a single goal and playing well in general. This is a list of his stats from the game,
